Playing Kickball in DC


Be active, have fun and make friends! Join us and relive your childhood glory days of playing everyone's favorite sport: Kickball in DC! Always super popular, but we mix in the most critical part: a fun social atmosphere at our sponsor bar before and after games! No experience is necessary: just arrive with a smile, a great attitude and ready to run!

Games are played on Thursdays on the National Mall at the Washington Monument. Games are played between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. and run about 45 minutes. This league fills up FAST, so grab your friends and register now!


  • Games start on Thursday, April 27th. 
  • Regular season game dates are April 27, May 4, 11, 18, 25, and June 1.
  • A rainout week is scheduled for June 8.
  • Playoff dates are scheduled for June 15, 22.

  • This is a coed social kickball league with an emphasis on social. This is NOT a super competitive league. We're all here to have fun and make friends! 
  • Players can join as Free Agents, small groups or teams. If you don't have a team or group, you can still play. Just join as a Free Agent and we'll place you on a fun team.
  • Minimum on the field is 5 men and 5 women, with a max of 11 players on the field.
  • Substitute players are not allowed.

  • We have a scheduled 6 weeks of games, 1 week for a rainout (if needed) and 2 weeks for playoffs.
  • The number of teams in playoffs may vary.
  • Each player gets a player t-shirt.
  • We provide all officials and equipment. We also cover the costs of park/court/field permits (if applicable), parties, prizes and more.
  • Post-game happy hours are at our sponsor bar after games each week.


  • Our Sponsor Bar is The Exchange Saloon - 1719 G St. NW.
  • Food & drink specials available including $14 pitchers of Bud Light & $15 pitchers of Shock Top.
  • Reserved space for players in the back area. The patio will also be available. Flip cup can be played in either location.
  • NEW - Win gift cards by buying beer and entering the weekly raffle!


  • Teams must have a minimum of 18 players and a max of 25 players.***
  • All teams must be open to accepting Free Agents and/or small groups.
  • Teams with less than the minimum number of players may be merged with another team.
  • T-shirt delivery is aimed for the 1st or 2nd week of games. People that join late may receive their t-shirts later.


  • Captains are needed to organize and rally their teams, and distribute t-shirts to players.
  • We reach out to Captains from time to time to help us make decisions for teams.
  • Captains may request we hold off adding Free Agents to their teams. We will try to honor that request as best as we can for as long as we can, but we can't guarantee it. Your best bet is to ask your players to join as soon as possible.
